At the ASD clinic we can provide training for the individual, parents or carers, other professionals and organisations regarding aspects of Autistic Spectrum Disorder and its related conditions.
What will training involve?
Training will be provided by one of our highly experienced therapists and can be delivered on an individual or group basis. The content, duration and location of the training will vary depending on the specific needs and requirements of the individual or group.
Training may include:
- Education about Autistic Spectrum Disorder and its related conditions
- Training for the individual, their parents / carers and other professionals involved in their care on aspects of their treatment planand how to carry them out effectively.
- Education on speech and language therapy.
- Education on occupational therapy.
- Education on physiotherapy.
- Equipment training.
- Training for educational staff.
- Training for other professionals.
The type of training given will vary and be tailored to the specific needs, abilities and requirements of the individual or group.
